Gianluca Hotz is an independent consultant, trainer, and speaker specialized in architecture, database design, high availability, capacity planning, performance tuning, system integration, and migrations for Microsoft SQL Server.

He has been working as a consultant in the IT field since 1993 and with SQL Server since 1996, starting with version 4.21 on Windows NT. As a trainer, he was in charge of the SQL Server courses line for one of the largest Italian Microsoft Learning Partners (Mondadori Informatica Education) and continues to train professionals through regular classroom training and on-the-job coaching. He supports Microsoft as a speaker and expert at local and international conferences, workshops, and university seminars.

Danilo Dominici is an independent consultant, trainer, speaker and author, specialized in architecture, database design, high availability, performance tuning, system integration for Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

He has been working with SQL Server since 1999, starting with version 6.5 on Windows NT. As a trainer, he collaborated with many of the Italian Microsoft Learning Partners in early 2000s (Global Knowledge, Pipeline, ELEA) and since then has continued to train professionals through regular classroom training and on-the-job coaching.
